Cascade 25, acrylic on panel, 24 x 18 in.

Ryan Molenkamp

My work is rooted in the landscape of the northwest. I continue to be fascinated by the form and structure of both the natural environment, and the things that we build upon it. These works may seem graphic and abstract at times, but the imagery comes out of the context of thinking about the changing northwest landscape, where I have lived most of my life.
